WWE 2K25 is a professional wrestling sports video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. It is the twenty-fifth overall installment of the video game series based on WWE, the eleventh game under the WWE 2K banner, and the successor to WWE 2K24. It has been released in early access on March 6, 2025, with The Deluxe Editon (with Jaxsen Kino on The Cover) a Deadman Editon a Bloodline Editon and Countless Others The Standerd Edition is set to release on
March 14, 2025, for PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.[1]
Development
During the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix on January 6, during a backstage segment with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, following Reigns' victory over Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match, WWE 2K25 was slightly teased with Reigns telling Heyman the cover announcement date as his plans to "acknowledge" the entire world as the "Tribal Chief".[2] Three weeks later on January 27 on Raw, Paul Heyman revealed that Roman Reigns would be the cover star for the game.[3][4] 2K would release a trailer the following day showcasing gameplay, other game covers, and the date for pre-orders.[5]
On February 6, 2025, IGN released the first gameplay trailer.[6]
