This is a comic from Bonka-chan: !!! She did the sketch & dialog! So she did the idea & stuff... inked it from her sketch http://bonka-chan.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4bumjh !
So I have always tried my hand in trying to ink & color a comic…but I find that I get frustrated & throw everything away. I look amateur & sloppy compared to my idols… also my motivation wanes & with my ADHD…well it goes to the scrap file…
Then I saw this wonderful sketch & just had to make it into a comic…I needed something that would keep me motivated… & boy, did I need to stay motivated. I had to learn how to use Manga Studio & how to convert it to Photoshop CS2 & almost killed my virtual memory…But I could still feel the enthusiasm ebbing in my veins like radioactive ants!!!
So I tried many methods & the hardest for me was the dialog, actually… To me I am all about the art & pictures but word bubbles kill me!
So I tried washing the colors to give it that classic look but I wonder about that. I am such a checked with colors…I love bright but washing it out made my eyes hurt less… so I am sticking to it.
So finally, I am done… I hope Bonka-chan: likes it… I wanted to do her art justice… I still kept her sketch in the picture jut a little to add depth & I love how some comics have that sketchy look. I love sketches…they make it seem so emotional…Still.. I did the ink with Manga & coloring with Manga Studio Debut… phew… & it is a program that hates m e. I love vectors better, but it would have taken away the character of the art.
Thank you Bonka-chan: for giving me permission to ink & color your comic this time! Also I had to chenge the title from "Secret Wedding" to "Secret Vows" cause DA won't let me put a long title...
I do not own Francoeur & Lucille or any of the characters from Un Monster a Paris. I am just an insignificant insect that is just a fan. All characters belong to © Bibo Bergeron & EuropaCorp
