| can someone tell me if this would likely animate three volumes instead of two? I'm hoping this 16 episodes is just to adapt more from volume 7 and 8 but I'm getting worried... having three volumes sounds like a mess with 6 + 6 + 4 (it's gonna be S1 pacing disaster all over again) |

Or they could just be some filler episodes that have nothing to do with what's going on in the main season. |
| Yeah understood, or they're most likely gonna replace some main episodes in case of delays during the broadcast period. Anyway, I'm glad that this season will have 16 episodes breaking the usual 12 & 13 ones. Thanks for the reply. |

Special programs mean live action recaps featuring the cast who voices the characters. They did these before, even with 86 anime part 2. There is nothing new about these programs. We will see 16 episodes airing normally though (which is new for the anime series)

| @ani2016 ohhh kinda like how TenSura has their 'radio show' hosted by Okasaki Miho (Rimuru's JVA) every week and she sometimes has 'guest stars' from the rest of the cast... i kinda sorta remember watching a YouTube vid on the 86 cast talking about 'stuffs' and even showing off a ... 'toy'? of one of the 86' mecha that was just introduced back then... and... OH! a Bleach cast 'reunion' on YT recorded from a livestream about the history of the show, the cast's fave moments and the announcement of TYBWA part 1. hmmm... ah well... i'll probably never see those 3 Arifureta special episodes easily. :D thanks for your input! :D |
