Look, I'm sorry to tell you that pale, thin, teenage-looking white boys are not at all representative of the average man, both heterosexual and homosexual, nor represent any diversity. Someday it would be interesting to talk about why this kind is so overrepresented in sectors such as movies and modeling (although the causes behind this are what many of us know). I have not said that I am against people like that existing, as you said and algo you said that I was in favor of imposing uniformity on anyone who is not to my taste. But I tell you something very simple, the carbon copies that they impose are precisely this type of man.I wasn't speaking on cultural 'normal'. I was referring to actual normalcy. Everyone that is human is normal, and diverse. What is abnormal is expecting everyone to be a carbon copy of us and getting upset, angry, or otherwise actively avoiding difference.
Expecting all gay men to be 'manly' because some ad guy in the fifties found a way to sell products is insane. Especially coming from a queer person about other queer people.
