An impressive finale imo that took fights all over the place. It's science at peak again. Surprisingly, they managed to get Xeno so well played Chrome. Luna still has her fantasies about Senku lol. The buildup that led to this epic season finale is well worth it imo. Looking forward to the next cour in July. |

They managed to build a tunnel, that was more than a feat in itself, but yeah, these people sneaking in and taking Xeno hostage was just cherry on top. Don’t think there’s anything denying that, but yeah, Xeno still going loud about his grand plan, knowing full well he’s done for and that Senku and co. have got this in the bag was a bit hilarious to me. Seriously, if he trusted Senku enough, he should’ve considered the possibility that Senku “could” be alive. That reaction tells he was hopeful, though yeah, just for the sake of it. Senku made it in the end, so good for Xeno lol I guess. Now yeah, this was the part I was waiting for, which truly was something unexpected, if I do say. I mean, the group dividing into two and forming a summit sort of with the american folks, while leaving their own friends in the charge of corn city just so they can wake up a fucking million people was… really something which only Senku can pull off lmao. He really wants to turn the entire population of earth back to normal. Served as a good stopping point, I mean the contrast between Senku and Xeno is so fucking vividly visible in just the fact that he uses all his knowledge to make it the way it was originally, and not to take the role of a ruler or sort. Another great season, as ever. This really has been a ride till now. Now yeah, they’re to south america now, and we to the next cour in July. |

Yep, so this is how Xeno ends up joining Senku’s side. He sees Chrome, who’s from a primitive era, but still has the brains to be a scientist. And he figures out that both sides gotta work together to move forward. Even if Xeno took out Senku, he still wouldn’t be the only one making tech. So I guess that’s why Kohaku and the others just left him in the cable car instead of dragging him back. But hey, because of that, we got to see Xeno actually happy that Senku didn’t die, which was kinda nice. But man, idk how I feel about the Science Kingdom splitting up. It’s already been happening since Japan, so I guess it’s a thing now. Still, I didn’t expect Taiju and Yuzuriha to get split up. I really thought Senku would leave Taiju behind, but nope. Not complaining, though, more Taiju is always good. This arc did feel rushed, but honestly, that’s just how it went down. Everything was unexpected, full of backup plans and making stuff up on the spot. They basically had to grab Xeno and run. But overall, still one of the best shows of this slow season. Dr. Stone is always fun, so for now, this is it… until next season. |

Dr. Chrome's tunneling system works to bring Xeno to a stalemate, and with his capture, Kohaku and the others need to get out to safety...only except that both Chrome and Xeno got themselves caved in from the bomb explosion needed to give force to their monorail. The reality between Chrome and Xeno could have not been more different, and Senku now has the upper hand thanks to Taiju bailing them out first, thus bringing the long-standing reunion between the two scientists. Even when faced with the disadvantage of the stalemate, Luna bringing Kaseki, Francois, Max and Carlos with her...she's more into Senku's affections than anything, and while they have ample opportunity on their hands, getting the summit diplomacy out between Japan and the US is just as important. And who better to negotiate with than Engineer Brody, who understands the value of corn to revive and rebuild a city of a million to consummate a peace treaty. Of course, Stanley will not appreciate this, and the Medusa being a decoy for Senku's party to escape unscathed and head south while he chases them down. Next stop: the epicenter of the petrification beam in South America, for the 2nd Cour to return in July! |

Chrome being a total MVP is the highlight: It's not my place to look down on others based on what they like. Other than that, I feel like this episode was speedrun so much it was all over the place and got kinda hard to follow. With some forced elements just to serve a desired narrative, as opposed to having been ironed out to be logical or make actual sense. As such, I found it hard to enjoy, which is a shame. Not that those things haven't been present in earlier episodes, but they really cranked things up here, and for a season(/cour, whatever) finale... not sure that's how I'd want it to go. Even the quality seems to have dropped, somehow, with barely any good closeups. Shame. |

Best Dr stone season over man I can’t wait for the next season, it’s only going to get better from here. Absolute banger of a finale. For all the praise that Senku deservedly gets, you can’t forget how important people like Chrome are to all of this. Great to see my boy get some shine here in the finale. We won’t have to wait too long for the next cour either! Xeno picked the absolute person to bribe with power and strength. A dude like Chrome is too pure and too committed to science to ever fall for that and try to rule people. Love how he just straight up stares down Xeno and says no, refusing to sell out lol. FINALLY Senku and Xeno coming face to face. Master and student, time for the student to become the teacher. Can’t wait to see them interact more in the next cour. Their differing approaches to science is a big part of what made this season so good, it’ll be interesting to see them have those ideological conversations directly! A special revival city is a great idea and exactly how things should be done. Science belongs to everyone and should be for the betterment of the human race! Can’t wait to see how that turns out with Brody in charge. Dude only had a few scenes but he’s a riot. Had a lot of fun watching this season with all its twists and turns and two geniuses battling it out. South America up next on our world tour, hype! |

And that’s a wrap to another great season of Dr. Stone’s, can’t wait for the continuation come this Summer! We’ve already got a bloody stacked summer season (fair shout for best season ever, no?) coming soon and this is definitely up there in the hype scale. Dr. Xeno knows game and the respect for Senku was great to see. Stanley’s not going to be easy parrying all the time but at least the safety of the others have been confirmed through a joint venture for building a darn city xD. If that isn’t easy the most 21st century compromise, I don’t know what is. It must’ve been a hard decision for people like Taiju in particular to have to come to terms with, and I tip my hat for himself going through with it. Good thing Stanley didn’t go for a low blow there. Luna-chan switching sides with that whole staged thing was hilarious. On to South America where the whole fiasco began! I’m sure this series is still got plenty to surprise us with though, I doubt this will come down a simple occlusal hit and run and predominant sol enjoying the Latino culture xD. As always, great theme songs and wonderful audiovisual experience. TMS sure go all out with Dr. Stone! 8/10. |

Xeno has the worst guards—one gets distracted and doesn’t even question a moving watermelon, while others let Kaseki, Francois, and Luna escape so easily. The pacing of this last episode was really fast. That said, it’s still an amazing show—Dr. Stone never disappoints. Without a doubt, Chrome and Niki are the MVPs of the season. World leaders could learn a thing or two from Niki about being a good diplomat. It was sad to see the group split up, but with cour 2 confirmed for July, I’ll just petrify myself until it returns. |

Ah, it's over. Come to think of it, this season is similar to the second season (Stone Wars) with differences in the setting and characters. However, they can package it into an interesting story, especially with the science involved. Simply as great as ever. I really can't wait for the 2nd cour (Part 2), which will start airing in July. Now with Dr. Xeno in their hands, I really wonder how their next journey will be! |

Hmmm, there's no attempt to negotiate with Xeno or Stanley, which would make the situation much easier. I'm assuming that Senku think there's no need to negotiate since he want to go to South America anyway, and bringing Xeno (and Stanley) to South America might yield a better result since they can working together. |

Xeno is captured and Team Science made negotiations with Xeno's group. That happened fast. But Stanley is still pissed about it and will keep chasing Senku's group. That sucks. I loved how happy Xeno looked when he saw Senku. Even though they're enemies, he can't help but feel proud of his old student. It's weirdly wholesome. Sucks that cour 2 won't air in the next season. But one season break isn't that bad. I wonder if the last 2 cours will air consecutively. If not, then that'll mean the final season will end in 2026. Can't complain much. Can't wait to see what Senku and the others do in South America! |

After a phenomenal previous episode, unfortunately I don’t think this one was quite as good, I still really enjoyed it but it was kinda hurt by the suspension of disbelief required and the pacing. Like Xeno does not have the best guards lol, we also skipped how the infiltration team actually made their way into the enemy base, they undershot it but somehow made it in without being seen by the guard on the mounted machine gun, and then later was Max and Luna freeing Francois and Kaseki without being stopped by anyone onboard the ship, I mean they had Luna tied up so surely they knew she’s a defector right? But besides all that, this was a good finale for this first part of the final season, I loved seeing the reunion of Senku and Xeno, funny that Xeno can be so happy to see Senku again despite his kill order, but I also found that aspect pretty wholesome, I’m hoping with the Kingdom of Science splitting up that maybe Xeno will help Senku in their South America travels. And the “US and Japan summit” was cool too, it is a bit convenient that Brody was so willing to work with the Kingdom of Science but I liked his interaction with Niki, and Brody is a good man after all too, probably doesn’t have the same ambitions as Xeno so I do get it. And man that final bit with Stanley tho, that boy is MAD lol, but his reaction to finding out he’s been duped was one of respect, Stanley really is a cool mf to the end, and the plot of the next part being about him chasing down Senku’s party in South America sounds so badass, I really can’t wait to see that. And that was it for the final season of Dr. Stone for now, and I’m so happy that I can say “for now” too lol, I don’t want the spring to go by too fast but if the summer is when we’re getting the next part, I simply can’t wait. I really loved this cour, the battle of science against Xeno and Stanley was so much fun, it truly was a rollercoaster of a plot that you never really could predict at any moment, and despite the focus being more on the conflict, we still got plenty of fun science that we’re used to getting in Dr. Stone, so I’m feeling happy on all fronts pretty much. Of course the plot wasn’t perfect, there were several instances where it was a bit hard to believe what was happening, but for every moment I was pulled out, there were ten more moments where I was sucked in, Dr. Stone still continues to be one of my all time favorites shounens. And man I’m really gonna miss that bop of an OP, nothing like breaking it down with the science gang before every episode, ED was also very nice with the card visuals and chill song, hoping the rest of the cours can hold a candle to these two. And now, I guess I wait for the summer… until then I have Fire Force to hold me over, my other all time favorite shounen, I’m not sure about everyone else but I’m eating really good lol. |

Okay that was nice, it's true that the pacing was a bit too fast though but I like how things are going for the story, now they got Xeno and they can head to South American even though Stanley is going to chase them (we need a villain of course) and a part of the group is staying in the US so I guess it's really a farewell to some of them :( anyway I can't wait to see how things will turn out in the next cour!! |

Kind of a lame way to end this season, but from what I have seen this shown is not known for its endings. All in all it is a light-hearted show and should be taken as one. Maybe I've gotten too used to the likes of Solo Leveling that have big fights and crazy cliffhangers and stuff like that, which makes me forget that sometimes you just have to sit back relax and enjoy it for what it is. With this said I am looking forward for the next part which apparently it is going to be in July this year. Also very sad to see the gang split up even more. |

Final Inagaki-Thursday Part 1 Impressed by the away team's elegant use of science, Dr. Xeno tries to convince Chrome, a science-user born in the stone world, to join his side. Brody holds some beliefs that may put him at odds with other members of the kingdom somewhere down the line. Senku meets his mentor after thousands of years and uses him as a hostage. The captives on the Perseus negotiate with Brody, judged to be the most reasonable amongst Dr. Xeno's side. With Senku offering the formula for revival fluid, first, both sides agreed to build a neutral city. Stanley shoots the hijacked boat, which has the medusa tied to the bow, the Perseus captives partake in the bluff. The away team, holding Dr. Xeno part ways with the Perseus, extending their fists in the air as a heartfelt salute. |

An unexpected way to end this season, if I'm being honest. I wasn't expecting Senku to tell that scientist the recipe of the revival fluid just like that. And now it's going to be a tag chase between Stanley and Senku, while Senku continues the adventure of the Kingdom of Science throughout the world for the big objective of getting to the Moon. I wonder how South America is after the petrification ray started there. Really curious about that. But was it only me, or the storytelling this episode was confusing? I only understood that they were just leaving the America by the end of the episode. Maybe I'm a bit slow today. Anyways, it was cool to see that Dr. Xeno was moved to see Senku was alive (first when Chrome called his name, and then he appeared), which shows he didn't really meant to kill him, he just needed too. I think, in the end, Dr. Xeno and Stanley will just end up joining the team by the end of the next cour, because that's your usual Dr. Stone here. Overall, this season was much more consistent than the 3rd season. It never had properly an amazing episode, but it also didn't have a weak episode (maybe the 1st one was weak). I ended up enjoying this season as equal as the 3rd season, a bit less than the 2nd season (that has been my favorite so far), so I guess I'll give this Part 1 of Season 4 the usual 8/10 that I end up giving to Dr. Stone. I'm excited to see how the anime will start to wrap, with the 2nd part coming in July, and starting to be close to the end! |

Seeing how Chrome's team were able to infiltrate Xeno's castle and deal with the guards along the way was amusing, as was their escape plan once they captured Xeno himself. It was a good moment for Chrome himself to voice his personal stance of not looking down on others. Both Brody and Niki being the main duo for negotiations and agreeing to a truce was unexpected, but also very welcome at the same time. Brody was right to say that Stanley would go to the ends of Earth to get Xeno back and I do see that happening, but I do have a slither of hope that he too will be persuaded to help out one day. The main objective for Senku's team is now to head to the original source of the petrification in South America, which meant that they had to part ways with the rest of the crew. It was especially hard on Taiju as that meant he will be separated from Yuzuriha, the one he loves with all of his heart. Overall, the first cour of Science Future was a fun ride, seeing our familiar cast dealing with Xeno's crew. While both sides are now in a truce, it'll be interesting to see what danger lurks ahead for them while they head to South America. Either way, we only have to wait to July for the series to resume, so I'll look forward to it as always! =) |

A rushed episode to end the season. It didn't suck but could have been made better, but it's okay, I guess. Warning: Huge wall of text Chrome's team just walking into the enemy base unnoticed and unimpeded was lame. How could a bunch of dirty guys with primitive clothes dyed blue of all colors infiltrate the base so easily? No effort for stealth whatsoever. And Suika. It's tolerable when she is out in the wild doing her espionage as it's easy for her to camouflage herself in the greenery of the nature, but in the metal and concrete corridors of the base? Just how small is she to be mistaken for a watermelon and how dumb must the guards be? They can't see what Gen sees. They're supposed to be soldiers but they're worse than NPCs. Xeno didn't lose the battle, his morbidly incompetent team did. Why did Chrome go through all that struggle to dig a tunnel? It would've been no different to just let themselves in through the front gate. There should've been a longer process to reach Xeno where Chrome could've shined with more scientific tricks to make it past guards with machine guns. We could have been shown more of the scientific things Chrome encountered and amazed at than some bottles and a device after he walked into a place significantly more developed than theirs ever was. Had the astronaut team made the more rational decision to land on USA soils, I wonder if Chrome would have been a devout follower of Xeno instead? According to the Dr. Stone Wiki, Xeno weighs 69kg and what a beast Kohaku must be to carry him and place him in the cart with one hand. Xeno has a point about what he's telling Chrome while trying to win him over. He's basically a technocrat and can't stand the petty politics hindering the scientific process as attested by his reaction and letter to Senku after the refusal of his project Helium-3 or something like that. Autocracy is high risk-high gain; democracy is low risk-low gain. When in the hands of a capable and moral person such as Senku, autocracy is probably better suited for governance than democracy as the popular decisions aren't always the right ones, however; it's prone to corruption. The power must be as absolute as the powerholder is in terms of capability and morality. Here, as per his dialogue with Chrome, Xeno seems to lack the morality part relative to Senku since he mentions not only politics but also ethics as to why he must rule. He's genuinely not a villain, he just differs with Senku on what pathway to take to the betterment of the humanity. Rather than worry for the sake of humanity's evolution, he seems to be obsessed with science itself insomuch as he will ignore certain ethical questions and condone moral shortcomings whereas Senku has more humanistic ideals in mind. Although one can't go wrong with choosing either of them, the world will be a happier place having preferred Senku, just like humble and kind Chrome did. Brody shares the same ideals as Ukyo, Senku and Ryusui in that each and every human is precious but then I wonder why he didn't defect to Senku's side considering that Xeno keeps mass-producing all kinds of weapons and is having him aid therein. Unless the only way of information going to the rest of Xeno's team is through Xeno and Stanley's alterations of it. Taiju drilling as efficiently as the motor spinning the drill shows the guy's made of willpower. Xeno felt obligated to give the order to kill Senku for the greater good but he was genuinely relieved to see him alive. These two respect each other profoundly. Maybe Xeno was even proud to see that his disciple surpassed him the master. I love how both sides hibernate as soon as they catch the enemy and just stand by and let the machinations unfold. No one is objecting to traitorous Luna roaming around as if she weren't a prisoner and an old guy bursting his restraints with thermal expansion and diving into the river with a big sack goes unnoticed by everyone. Ryusui giving vibes of General Douglas MacArthur one of whose quotes is "We're not retreating - we're advancing in another direction." I love how Senku addresses everyone as temee, a rude way in Japanese as far as I know. Xeno, when Senku revealed the nital solution for depetrification, was probably having a hard time believing how simple it is and how he couldn't think of it. Building Nautilius, being a positive and optimistic guy all the time and immediately agreeing to the crazy idea of reviving 1 million people and just cooperating with Senku and refusing to elaborate further, B in Brody stands for based, contrary to acidic Stanley who hunts people down. It was cold of Senku to leave the prisoners of war of his team as collateral with complete absence of their opinion and approval lol. Good thing he is a very charismatic leader who has loyal followers. It's hereby proved that the relation between Xeno and Stanley is not only that of subordination or friendship but more if he's willing to become a Resident Evil tyrant for Xeno and hunt Senku down. But perhaps he will do it out of spite because our science man keeps surviving him. Looking forward to the next season in hopes that it will outdo this one. |

Speedrun-like pacing and tons of stupid plot conveniences for this finale. From Xeno's guards being completely useless, to Luna and co. nonchalantly escaping right in front of Stanley's nose to mf Senkuu expecting his plan of a conflict-free Corn Nation to work while Kingdom of Science's main core is away. Man, what a mess. Pretty disappointing season after how solid New World ended up being. Suspension of disbelief (well, the very little I still had left) got obliterated alongside my patience for goofy characters with the introduction of Luna and her insufferable simps. How did author manage to create characters that are even more annoying than Ginrou? I will never know. 5/10 - First handful of episodes were actually enjoyable but to be honest, things started to go downhill the moment Xeno was revealed as Senkuu's mentor. From there on, story progression and plot points started to feel all over the place and messy. |

On tha last and emotional episode from this part we get to see how they managed to capture Xeno, one that was actually excited to see Senkuu again as a fellow man of science. That was not before meeting Chrome and being fascinated by the way he was able to come up and execute the escape plan even if his ideals aren't aligned. But then there was the question of what to do next. As it turns out Brody much like Ukyo isn't one for casualties and would gladly accept the diplomatic trade for the secret formula for the revival fluid in order to build a nation. After all, they both him and Senku want the best for humanity. And that culminates in a farewell that reminds me a lot of One Piece in a good way. Onwards to South America in a couple of months. |

I like how impressed Xeno is with Chrome and Senku, the man appreciates anyone who loves science even they oppose him. I’m a little confused as to how the deal between the two sides works. I assumed to would be a simple hostage exchange, but this was way more complicated than that. |
