Victoria felt the presence of her secretary before she saw her. The woman had gained weight ever since Victoria had taken her in. Every day she would gorge herself her entire shift, eating anything and everything edible within reach. For curioity's sake, Victoria fed the woman's habit, watching her balloon forth. As her weight increased, so to did her hunger. More and more every day.
She was gaining weight so fast now that her skin barely had time to stretch before her body churned the massive quantities inside her into fat, cramming it into every available space before the woman supplied it with more.
Victoria put her head in her hand, hearing the rubbery creaks of an overtaxed body along with the splashes and growls of a stomach hard at work. The woman set to stuffing herself through the double wide doorway that Victoria had installed a while back, but now that was far too small to admit the woman. She sidled in sideways, her belly crushed against the frame, and heaved herself through, ushering forth a chorus of stretching noises and angry roars from her stomach.
Victoria was waiting for the moment when the secretary realized how little mobility she had left.

It depends.
She's been genetically modified, and her stomach is actually a naniobiological synthetic equivalent. It can grow with her.
Technically there isn't anything preventing her from being able to explode but the character herself, while a glutton, tends to stay within her limits. Her upper limits, but within limits nonetheless.
She's part of a story where body modification is easier and cheaper than ever. There are people in her world that enjoy that sort of thing and have gotten themselves modified to be able to do that, because regeneration is a thing in this universe, but again; she's not personally into that. Whih isn't to say she still couldn't eat too much or run into a sharp edge; she'd basically have to ram and press into a knife to get that to happen and even if it did it would mainly just be a leak since she isn't designed to pop in the fetish sense.

Also also, it's based on the idea that military genetics reached the aftermarket after about a century of development. Naturally, everyone started abusing it and more than one person indulged in their personal fetish.
And because women get implants and other body modification and men take steroids; I believe that this is the future. Someday, you'll see someone like this walking around. Or shuffling, rather. If we develop a gene that makes bones able to take the strain.

She's the secretary and executioner for an extremely brutal dictator. And as she is a vampire, I'm pretty sure you know what that means.
The main character's visual appearance is heavily inspired by the character Cox from Gideon's artwork.
