Not my type of humor as well, VA doesnt work with the girl, Sora Amamiya with her Aqua tone woulda worked 10000x better, but since Sugita's voicing the MC then Im fucking staying.
It looks like Mangaka-san to Assistant-san, it feels like Mangaka-san to Assistant-san and its made by the same guy who made Mangaka-san to Assistant-san. hmmmm did I just rewatch Mangaka-san to Assistant-san or am I just dumb enough to have a massive case of dejavu
Some jokes feel half assed and the banana thing already got old and it sure will get worse but it's still somewhat watchable. I hate dumb characters but her getting punished for it makes it better. A carries this circus.
Weird, so far for what I've seen half length series seem good enough for guilty pleasure time killers while regular series are shit this season.
This was pretty funny enjoyed watching it.
Anyway this anime expaines what happens to you when you suffer from malnutrition after eating to much banana's.
That was fun, gonna look forward to this each week.
I haven't seen a proper comedy focused show last season so this is refreshing.
The fact that the main girl has Yuuki Aoi's voice is extra greatness.
I happen to just randomly pick this one out because I had nothing I wanted to watch on Tuesdays and this was great. Some jokes didn't do it for me but the ones that did made me lol.
A-kun and Yoshiko's chemistry together is awesome! Yoshiko is not afraid to hit on A-kun and use her sexuality in a comedic way. I love that he is not afraid to abuse her when Yoshiko fucks up. One of the parts I laughed hard at was when she wanted to play dodgeball and A-kun decided to throw a dodgeball at her face.
Anyways, I liked this a lot but the mileage of this show might be short for me. It all depends on what they do different each week but putting 4 skits in 12-ish minutes might make this series dull at some point.
I still liked this 1st episode though. It was fun.
No idea how to feel after this first episode lol, it was pretty funny even if slapstick and fanservice aren't really my preferences, I like the quick pacing of the comedy tho, it works well with the jokes.
Let's see how I feel about it after 2-3 more eps before taking a final decision.
Pretty funny first episode. Not the biggest fan of exaggerated violence in slice of lifes, but it was still funny nonetheless. Yoshiko is really cute, looking forward to the next episode.
I'm not sure why I found this entertaining.
It's refreshing to see the guy beat up the girl, who's the perverted one this time.
I died at, "a lewd banana? Oh, you mean a peni-"
This anime feels like a mean-spirited siblings comedy, now that I think about it.
You can find it also in every shounen anime, that has female character. Even Fairy Tail for example.
I think he meant this is the first time he's seen a guy beat up a girl in a comedic scene.
You'll find guys beating up girls all the time in fight scenes, but not in comedic scenes.
The jokes, or at least the animation style, reminds of Nichijou..
Don't be too serious on the guy hitting girl thing, it's just slapstick comedy. I suppose it's decent enough to spend 15 minutes every week while having snacks or a quick meal
I hope they can keep the jokes fresh, which is very hard to do.
Holy shit, so this anime is just Aoi Yuuki with her normal speaking voice to be completely stupid and perverted, while Sugita Tomokazu with his normal speaking voice constantly getting mad at her?
Dude, sign me the fuck up.
I love Aoi Yuuki's interactions with Sugita Tomokazu and Nakamura Yuuichi in Tokyo Encounter, and this is pretty much just that taken to an extreme.
I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. I laughed at most of the jokes and the ones I didn't were gone before I knew it since the pacing is so fast.
Ahahahaha! Aho-girl so funny!
I would mind if she's an idiot as long as I would always wake her up only in her undies...what more if she doesn't have them! oye!
As soon as the OP rolls i immediately knew it was angela!
Yoshiko VA Yuuki Aoi is a perfect fit!
4/5.
In an anime landscape where KonoSuba, Osomatsu-san and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun are all still fresh in the collective community mind, a comedy show needs to try a LOT more than this one does in order to be acceptable. There is no compelling premise, there are no interesting inter-character relationships, and none of the characters have been fleshed out in any way, so all this is is a bunch of pointless animations that are perhaps funny on the shallowest level possible. 95% of people who say they like this show now will be tired of it by episode 5 unless the next episode brings something extraordinarily excellent.
I usually hate/strongly dislike gag anime, but it's been a long time since I've laughed this much at an anime. The humor is not exactly new, but it's effective. I'll watch it again. π

I'm in no ways a feminist, but men shouldn't punch girls... :/
That out of the way, this is anime and I found the episode hilarious punching included. I'm curious to see if Akuru and Yoshiko will be developing a stronger friendship despite their antics. Honestly I hope the series goes over something in their past that explains why on earth the two are so close together despite their personal chemistry not matching at all. I'm afraid that might be asking too much of the genre, but I have been surprised before. I'll stay tuned and see where it goes from here.
