To continue, OCD is not to be sneezed at, at times it can be a blessing, as a young 80 year old i am finding it hard to get motivated these days, I have noticed so much that needs doing around the home but have not the energy nor inclination to get up and do something, younger days I would even be able to remove windows to clean.Do all kitchen cupboards, vacuum, wash floors in one day, sadly unable to do much more than make bed and get myself dressed.

Very clean. I think the peroxide and bleach are supposed to have darker bottles. Something about the sunlight makes them lose their potency. The peroxide for sure. God bless

I love decluttering and organizing. I also love watching other people do it. It's so refreshing having a clean, organized space that I can find everything and tidy up quickly. I think we may be kindred spirits, lol. We have very similar organization styles :)

Great organizational tips. Here's one for you from a Professional Organizer who also owned a cleaning company: Instead of cleaning products under the kitchen and bathroom sinks (space hogs), get a carry bin and put cleaning cloths, cleaning sprays and soft scrub in the bin. Keep it in the garage or pantry and when it's time for cleaning it moves room to room.

Re: the fridge… milk product in the door is a no-no! It’s got the lowest temp! Every time you open the fridge… the temp drops!! Dairy goes lowest & to the back of the fridge! Maintains a cold temp and promotes less spoilage.
No storage of potatoes in the fridge. It develops the sugars and makes them spoil and taste change! Yuk!!
Cutting boards… place a rung out wet wash rag UNDER the cutting board. You won’t be chasing the cutting board sll around when you cut or slice!!

I am not sure how I happened upon your video, but I believe this video provides ideas for others when they are trying how to best fit so much (clutter) into a defined space. The hair organization supplies (clips, elastics, donuts, etc) is a fantastic idea. Additionally yes, I keep bath products from specific hotel chains (Marriott and Disney) I keep the larger (Disney) products in a 2 tiered fruit organizing basket. The other products fit in the many Chinese food organization containers we have (small, low profile) that I put to use. The only place I label my containers is my craft room. That was a 5 day KonMari organization. I love the idea of big labels, I used my small Dymo label maker; but it works well and I do put things back. Thank you for the inspiration.

Oh… the garbage bag rolls… you can get Hubby to mount U shaped holder that screws into the wall w/ a large dowel as the core and you can spin it to dispense the bags! Awesome! I saw it under other sink cabinets! Hope the idea works for you!!

Love your organizational skills. I’m not quite there yet. I too get anxiety if things are messy and out of place. Everything has to be even, well balanced and straight. Color coordinating helps me a lot. We are a special kind of people lol. It’s soooo satisfying to organize. I am not as updated as I’d like to be. Always work in progress. Thanks for sharing. I like cleaning and organizing together which feels more organic to me. It feels good when it gets done. I'm 66 and have to do a little at a time. For example I cleared and washed down the table and washed down the large toaster oven and put it back on the table finding new homes for the peanut butter, butter dish, honey, etc...

I am so proud of you! Good job stocking and organizing your home! The only thing is, I have heard that potatoes that are kept in the fridge produce a carcinogen. You can check this for yourself. Thank you for an awesome video!

Wow this is beautiful, and functional! I would have never thought to use a chalk marker, but now I will be using it on leftovers for sure! We have a terrible time remembering how old things are, having a date would help remind us to use them up before it’s too late!

Maybe it is just me but you should research what storage containers you put most volatile chemicals in. Chemicals react differently to different materials or will break down if exposed to light. Which is why some packaging is clear, solid or glass when you purchase. You might want to doublecheck.

I just came across your videos and I love the way you do your organizing. I have been without work for two years now, as my doctor has placed me on medical retirement, I am still waiting for my disability to start, so I love watching and gathering ideas as to what I can do to my tiny apartment once I get my disability. I get very frustrated with all my mismatched furniture, and a lot of clutter that I am slowly working on. I have had three knee surgeries over the past four years, with the last one being a total knee replacement. It has made things difficult for me to be able to do a lot of what I want to do. I enjoy just watching and gathering information and ideas so when I do get my disability I will be able to get things better organized, more especially since I live in a studio/efficiency apartment and there is very little storage in my home.

I have the same fridge. I put the two drawers together at the bottom. And it worked better for me.

Thank you for the video and I’m also in my mom blah so house cleaning /organizing has been lacking severely the last few months. I have 4 teenagers, 2 that mental health issues/anxieties, full time employed, and hubby had his mid life crisis. Between homeschooling them all the last 2 yrs on top of teenage raging hormones and attitudes, job promotion with high stress level end of 2019. So mom-ager took 2022 off mostly and left cleaning to the teens so surface ok deep cleaning not happening lol. Trying to get back on track before 2023 rolls around. So happy to see 2022 go 😂. Thank you for the motivation and links❤

You had asked about using vinyl besides cricut materials.. I LOVE the paper studio products from hobby lobby, I actually find cricut vinyl hard to work with.. I do know that on materials like your daughters bins, it would be best to use rubbing alcohol on the surface before applying.
Your video was absolutely amazing and so satisfying to watch. My favorite parts are putting everything in the bins, it's such a great feeling of accomplishment. I actually just bought like 400 dollars worth of plastic bins from Walmart, the home edit show on Netflix just came out with their own Walmart exclusive line and it's amazingly affordable! I NEVER go to Walmart because where I live it's always so busy and it's pretty trashy but I am so glad I went I suggest you look into those products! They are GREAT quality also, I was extremely impressed.

I love both organizing and cleaning videos it gives me helpful information and tips and hacks of how to better organize my videos. It’s very motivational and I agree it’s also therapy for my anxiety as well as depression which I take meds for but this helps as well😊

I love watching the cleaning and organizing videos. It helps with my anxiety also. I deal with adhd, major depression, ocd. So when that burst of energy come out of nowhere, even 3am or so, I have some ideas already stuck in my head to try out. But great job with your organization 👏. I have a small kitchen, horrible cabinet space and not to great of accessibility to the bedroom closet s :/ 🤔
For the freebies from hotels and places, I stock up , even with the coffee/tea. Kitchen I have I a big condiment bucket from eating out, etc. Comes I'm handy, especially with packed lunches.

I love that you clean with hydrogen peroxide and the hack about screwing on a sprayer! It is so cheap! When I used to go to Sam’s Club, it cost $1.89 for a pack of two big bottles.

These type of videos give me so many ideas to get organize without stressing so much about where to put things. You have shown so many containers that we can use to make life easier for us to organize the smallest to the biggest item. I saw you put the receipe on the bottom of the container do you also keep up with expiration dates as well?

On your freezer section I suggest you invest on a food saver it’s the best to prevent freezer burn

When you’re filling your glass bottles, I recommend putting the water first then whatever concentrated cleaner you’re adding - then they won’t suds up all over the place like that when you add the water.

Suggestion, you have those round mop heads... the Shark steam mop traditional or the knew one with the round scrub heads that are steam mops also vlean your house so much better and you're just using distilled water no chemicals. I love the two head scrub one but I have both. The heads are washable and it doesn't streak as long as you do not use fabric softener when you wash the pads. So no trash to the landfill and no wasted money after you initial purchase. However if you're like me you clean the whole house at once so you will need extra pads which can be purchased for way less on Amazon.

Potatoes should never be refrigerated it causes them to become grainy and they don't get fluffy when you cook the. You are fabulous at organizing though... you can come fix my house anytime

Marlene, I’m stuck at home w/COVID and have loved LOVED watching your videos for inspiration when I’m recovered from this bug. Question: Nutrition labels & directions for cooking. I’m a label reader for fat, carbs, protein, and sodium. Do you look up the info as needed or do you cut out the info and file it away somewhere? I’ve cut nutrition info and tucked it inside the container, or perhaps you could stick it on the back of the clear container? Thoughts?
